2010 Holiday Express Golf Classic

Holiday Express thanks you for supporting our 8th Golf Classic, one of the premier golf events on the Jersey Shore. Again we returned to the beautiful Manasquan River Golf Club, in Brielle, New Jersey. From the rolling hills on the front nine, to the fresh breezes that roll off of the Manasquan River on the back nine, MRGC is widely known to be one of the most difficult and beautiful challenges to golfers of all skill levels.
115 players attended the morning and afternoon tee times. All players received a long sleeve Quick Dry Performance textured polo and a set of four Holiday Express pint glasses.
As players made their way around the course, they were greeted with special treats. At the halfway house, CJ Montana's restaurant, Tinton Falls, provided a delicious fiery shrimp
appetizer that received rave reviews. After the shrimp and an attempt at winning a car provided
by Coast Honda with a hole in one on #6, players enjoyed a cold Corona courtesy of
Shore Point Distributors.
At the 12th tee box ice cream sandwiches provided by Avis, were a chilled pick me up before the golfers swung hard for the longest drive prize on #13. As the golfers sized up the distance at the #15 hole and planned their Pebble Beach vacation courtesy of Two River Community Bank if they made a hole in one, they enjoyed a frosty summer brew courtesy of Basil T's in Red Bank.
The Grinch and Santa (in his summer suit) were sighted on the course offering golf tips and signing autographs. Special amenities after the round included a manicurist and barber. After a memorable experience on one of the best 18 holes in New Jersey, a wonderful reception was held with music, sumptuous food, and prizes.
