- The 2008 event raised more than $64,000 which benefits the
Holiday Express Scholarship Program - 130 players attended with both morning and afternoon tee times
- Special amenities included a masseuse, manicurist and barber

Holiday Express thanks you for supporting our 6th Golf Classic, one of the premier golf events on the Jersey Shore. Again we returned to the beautiful Manasquan River Golf Club, in Brielle, New Jersey. From the rolling hills on the front nine, to the fresh breezes that roll off of the Manasquan River on the back nine, MRGC is widely known to be one of the most difficult and beautiful challenges to golfers of all skill levels.
The format was again both Individual and Team Best Ball. From the time our guests arrived at the beautiful Manasquan River Golf Club, the music was echoing off of the rolling fairways – and special events, good friends and surprises were waiting at every tee. After a memorable experience on one of the best 18 holes in New Jersey, a wonderful reception was held with prizes, sumptuous food, and yet another surprise or two.
And in return for your kindness and support, please know that all proceeds go to the Holiday Express Scholarship Fund and other special projects, allowing us to continue our mission of "bringing the gift of human kindness."
