Holiday Express is proud to award three academic scholarships to graduating high school seniors from both the Academy Charter High School in Lake Como, NJ and the Collier High School in Wickatunk, NJ. The students at these two schools are extraordinary individuals who, in most cases, face difficult circumstances that most other high school students do not.

Since 2000, Holiday Express has awarded more than $500,000 to students in the communities we serve.

There are three scholarships given in the name of those who have inspired us:

The Lauren Townsend Scholarship

This scholarship is founded and dedicated to the Columbine High School student for her commitment to excellence and the brilliance of her spirit. The recipient must demonstrate a participation in scholastic and/or community extracurricular activities.

The Little Steven Creative Arts Scholarship

Named after Steven Van Zandt, singer/song writer of Holiday Express’ theme song “All Alone on Christmas”, this scholarship was created to recognize and encourage that free spirit lives within all of us. This scholarship is intended to assist the recipient in pursuing a future in the field of performing and/or creative arts.

The Andrew Spencer Scholarship

This scholarship is dedicated to the memory of Andrew Spencer who lost his life on September 11, 2001.   Andrew had an extraordinary love for life, quest for excellence and deep respect for those he loved. The recipient should be someone looking to make the most of life and have participation in scholastic and/or community extracurricular activities.
